This includes the following:
- Initial diagnosis of fault – we will send you any quote that exceed the service cost before proceeding.
- Full Update of System Software to the latest version
- Blow out all of the accumulated dirt and debris from unit
- Full external cleaning – removing all dirt and dust from the unit
- Clean & re-lubricate all rotary knobs
- Tightening all rotary knobs
- Clean all channel faders
- Clean out all control switches and rotary variable resistors
- Clean out USB drives and connections
- Clean and de oxidize all RCA signal outputs – Analog & Digital
- Reassemble the mixer and test each function using the SERVICE mode.
- The unit will then be powered up and tested for normal use.
We cover all areas within the M25, and the South East region.
Items can also be sent into us if you are further away. We aim to get repairs done same day and can usually get the item sent back on a 24 hour courier service

Who are Deck Converters?
We are a family run business operating out of a unit in South East London. We have years of experience in the AV industry, mostly with Pioneer DJ equipment. We strive to complete all work to the highest standards in the shortest amount of time, so you can be back playing within hours, not weeks.
How long will my repair take?
Around 99% of our repairs can be completed same day (within 24hours). This is due to the extensive parts we have in stock. Depending on the issue, we can also complete repairs while you wait. Should the part not be in stock, we will try our best to get the relevant part in the shortest amount of time possible. We will notify you as soon as we can.
Where are we based?
We are based in Big Yellow Storage, 400 Westhorne Avenue, SE9 5LT. Please contact us before bringing your item to us to make sure there are no delays.
We are usually available from 9am-6pm but can arrange alternative times to suit your needs. We can also carry out mobile servicing, just let us know the problems you are experiencing and we’ll bring the relevant tools and parts to carry out repairs.
What kind of units do we repair?
We are able to repair all Pioneer DJ & Technics turntable units. Please contact us if you have equipment from other brands.
Can I get my old parts back once repaired?
Yes – we can give back any parts that have been replaced. We can also dispose of them responsibly if preferred.
How much will it cost?
Our general servicing cost is £39 for most units. Larger mixers and controllers cost £49. This will cover the initial diagnosis and general servicing. Parts and additional labour charges will be extra and priced for each unit.
